Motorhome
or Travel Trailer Rental?
|
Motor homes and travel trailers are very different, and yet
many people haven’t decided on which will better suit their needs. If you are
planning on RV rental during the holidays, one of these options will give you
more of what you are looking for.
Travel trailers are available in many variations. This includes
size and shape. The can be as small as a spare bedroom or almost as large as a
motorhome. Some types have added slide outs to add more living space. These
trailers could weigh as little as a few thousand pounds and are similar to
hauling a small boat. Many types of average sized vehicles can pull these
travel trainers.
Motor homes come in different classes. Class A is considered
the premier form of motorhome. These have all of the connivances of home while
you are on the road. Even more perhaps. Many of the members of the class A are
quite expensive. While the basics can start at $200k, it is not uncommon to
find a motorhome in this class for more than 1 million.
The smaller class, or "c" class, are more like
mini-motorhomes. These are essentially small versions of the larger class A.
Like the travel trailer, these frequently offer slide outs to make them larger
and more flexible. If you are looking for the flexibility of the travel
trailers with the built in feature of drivability, the class c motorhome is for
you. These offer many of the conveniences of the class A while being cheaper –both
in terms of initial cost and fuel efficiency- as well as more maneuverable.
